Scarlet Pearl Casino construction milestone

The Scarlet Pearl Casino in D’Iberville, Mississippi held a topping off ceremony on Friday June 12, 2015 to mark the event of placing the final construction element atop the 18 story hotel casino. Construction crews and subcontractors received $80,000 cash prizes for a job well done. City officials were invited to tour the $350 million building featuring wall to wall and floor to ceiling windows at a cost of about $30,000 per room.

The Granieri family is responsible for financing the project that is expected to bring tourists as well as long term jobs and business interest in the community.
